Race changes the story almost completely. Peoples opinions and biases come through in their work. This happens all the time in the news, on TV and even with clothing brands. If someone is a republican and they work for the news their opinions on the democratic party are going to come through as they don't like them. On TV there is a show called Squidbillies. It is the most racist ,insensitive TV show towards minorities. If you couldn't guess it its made by white southerners with funny voices. Lets imagine that the show is being made by people in Mexico. The show would change because they aren't going to slander their own race. That's how it is, people aren't going to support things they don't like, don't believe in, or things that make fun of them. The same can be applied to the movies we watched. In Schindler's List  Steven Spielberg makes people go through the camps with the Jews. He really found a way to make you understand what they were going through. The reason he was able to? because he believed in it, these were his people. If that movie was being made by a former Nazi the story and our opinions would be way different. The Nazi would make it look like the Jews were the problems and insects. The Nazi wouldn't make it look like the Jews were suffering because he would believe they deserved it. The ethnicity and personal believes definitely has a huge affect on Hollywood productions and as I talked about even the way we think and talk.
