A characteristic of film noir is never making you think there will be a happy ending. This movie has a representation of this. Father and son seem to have beaten the impossible. They make it to the aunts beach house, and Mike's son is playing with the dog on the beach. Mike is inside looking through the window Thinking that he might have won. Then he gets shot twice by the creeper with the camera. All while the son in in view because of the camera angle. This is a classic sign of film noir. Film noir has many more like constant smoking and fedora hats and a depressing settings with hidden meanings. Smoking was very prevalent in this movie and it is used to enhance the vibe they are trying to give off. Their trying to make you think of the "underworld" by having them smoke. Now a days when someone is smoking people generally think that they are shady. The fashion was also very important for the setting of this movie. If they are trying to nail a certain era in time they can't have them wearing cloths from 2013 if its about 1931. Setting is used critically in this movie to create a feeling to enhance the story. The use of rain is a good example. When Michel sneaks into his dads car to see what he does it is raining to symbolize. It symbolizes that his innocence was being washing away when he saw his dad kill those people. This film is a hybrid between classic writing and film noir. The reason is toward the end while Michel is on the beach right before his dad gets shot he seems happy. That misdirection makes it not film noir but it has other elements that would make it fit the category. Which is the reason I am choosing to call it a hybrid.

If I came home and there was a clone of me siting my watching TV. First I'd get my gun. Then walk up and poke him as anyone probable would. After poking him I would start thinking of all the ways I could mess with people. First I would start sending him to school. That way he would be able to do all the work and I could Relax at home. Then I would proceed to my family's relative's houses and I would play a joke on them. When they are totally freaked out why there is two of me I would explain it to them. I would tell them that a huge truck full of knifes crashed into my car. I'd say that one of the knifes was going so fast it cut me in two. Then while at the hospital the two halves regenerated. The reason I would say is that grew back would be because of x-ray radiation. Then I would leave and let them think that happened was real. When it really was another joke. The next shenanigan would be me leaving my clone to resume my life. I would do this so it would basically be faking my own death but better. I would no longer have to pay taxes because the clone would be doing it. Also if someone saw me it wouldn't matter because I didn't fake my death I just got my clone to take my old life. Then I would start a life that had ultimate freedom. Over all having a clone would be pretty amazing. It would make school a lot easier. Lastly if cloning technology ever actually comes out teachers will be having a hard time. It would make it extremely difficult to find out whose playing hooky. Over all having a clone would be pretty amazing.

deeds compairison
The Deeds movies is similar but there are some differences. In Mr. Deeds goes to town the girl he falls in love with. in the black and white one her name is marry. But in the color movie her name is changed to pam. also the way they meat is different. In the black and white one she is walking back and she pretends to faint in front of his drive way. While in the color movie the girl is getting fake mugged by her friend and he comes to save her. Another big difference is the level of seriousness. In the black and white version it is more serious while the color is a lot more joking. This comes out in the begging of the stories where his uncle dies. in the original they have his uncle drive off a cliff in France on a day with bad weather. while in the color one they have him climbing mount Everest and he freezes. They did this to make people laugh. They did this again where he climbs on the fire truck to help fight the fire. In the original her gets on the truck and that's all you see. Where in the color film they show him going up to save the cats. They do this so they can have the guy from the news twist the story around so they can make him look insane to get ratings. They don't have the tuba in the first one because they use the cat scene to embarrass him instead of him playing the tuba. How much money is also a massive difference in the old one it is 22million dollar but in the colored one it is 40 billion and he doesn't have someone trying to sue him. overall the older one has more of consistent less hysterical type of writing to it. While the new one has a more of a crude humor to it that is more focused on getting you to laugh more then to understand the theme, message, or lesson.

Technological Tyranny
The situation he finds himself in is a tragedy. I would most likely be in his situation because I like going for night walks. Walking during the night might seem unusual but it is actually a good time for it. One reason is because during the day the sun is beating down. Also the crickets sing for you while you walk. If I happened to be in his situation I would have to say I would most likely cooperate. The reason is because if you haven’t done anything wrong then most likely the will let you go. Plus he seems from what the author said that the man is not insane. So when he gets to the mental facility he will be deemed fine . As long as the mental place has people working in it not robots. The issue with
Technology being police is that you get confusion like in this story. The technology doesn't have the ability to determine right from wrong. It can't figure out if some one is insane or just going for a walk. The Main point is we should not let our selves be consumed by technology. Or the world will become addicted to the blue screen. And technology will be the only one that goes outside.

Back to the future is a classic example of time travel consequences. For example biff is very abusive to Marty's dad in the begging. Then Marty goes back in time "accidentally" and gives his dad some excellent advice. He tells him to stand up for himself and the woman he likes, which is Marty's mom. He takes the advice and confronts biff while he is giving some unwanted attention to Lorain. He knocks biff out and wins Lorain and some confidence which he carries to the future with him.
Another good example is when Doc Brown acquires some plutonium for the machine and makes the wrong people mad. Then right when Marty and doc are about to test the time machine they roll up in a vw and gets shot by terrorists. Then Marty goes back in time in order to try and worn him about it. At first the doc doesn't want to take the chance of knowing and altering the future. Marty slips a note in the docs pocket right before he leaves the past. unfortunately he finds Marty's note and tears it up before he leaves for the future. To Marty's surprise when he goes back to the future he finds out that the doc read it anyway and put on a bullet proof vest. Sometimes the consequences of time travel work out for the better.
